Do you ever have those days where you just feel brain dead? You know where you put the milk in the cupboard or forget why you walked into a room… Yeah, I’ve been having that type of week and it’s only Tuesday! At least when it comes to blogging. Every time I sit down to write a post nothing happens. It’s not that I don’t have ideas on what to write about. I actually think about lots of great topics all the time but when I finally have the time to sit and blog those ideas are lost… I could attribute it to mommy brain, lack of sleep (been up since 3:30 since someone thought they needed to get up and play) or that we’re busy working on the house but I think the main culprit is that all I want to do is plan our trip to… Disneyland!

We are so excited to take The Love Nugget to the happiest place on earth. I’ve actually never been to Disneyland but I did get to go to Disney World so I guess I’ve had the magical experience Image may be NSFW.

The Love Nugget is obsessed with Disney Cars and has always loved Mickey so he’s going to have a blast!
The only negative is that we are going in just a few weeks which doesn’t leave a ton time to plan. On top of that I haven’t done much for his birthday and we still won’t be back in our house. So needless to say the to-do lists are getting longer and longer but all for fun!
After we spend a few days in Disney we are driving up the coast to Santa Barbara and going “Glamping!” WHAT!?!? You know, glamorous camping!

I grew up camping and still love it. My husband grew up camping in a travel trailer but also loves camping. We haven’t ventured into camping with a toddler yet and while we want The Love Nugget to experience the same joys of camping we did, we decided this wasn’t the trip. We are driving to Disney so packing all the camping gear sounded less than appealing. When i stumbled upon this wonderful resort that had several different options from cabins to canvas tents (pictured above), we decided to try it out. It wasn’t until after booking it that I found this is the place where the Real Housewives of OC filmed their “Glamping” episode.

Anyway, it should be a fun trip and we are very excited for the whole experience. Even the 7 hour car drive…
